One of the most memorable things about my relationship with Enid was her 9am
Sunday morning calls asking if I had finished the Times puzzle. It was how
we started our week and caught up on the important things in our lives. She
had an amazing energy and drive -- I think of all she'd accomplish on her
trips about her books or in a day in New York. She never wanted to miss
a thing! Not being an artist, I always had questions about her processes
and she was a good teacher. I will always remember her and miss her.
